As a youtube publisher you certainly would really love to see your new upload video get watched by many so you can promote your product or introduced your music to more viewers around the globe. One of the method which people often use is to promote their video on Facebook, but unless you have thousands of friend on Facebook it is pretty hard to get lots of people watching your video in a very short period of time. If you are a blogger and you are also a wordpress user then below plugin will help you to get lots of video views from Facebook.
First let me introduce you to my beautiful tubes wordpress plugin and show you how to use it within a few minutes time. This plugin basically will include a Facebook comment box at the bottom of your youtube video, so when a Facebook user comments on that video, his or her comment will appear in his or her Facebook’s profile page as well as newsfeed. So if his friends watch that video on facebook and then comment again on that comment then the video will appear on those friends newsfeed as well. In this way the video will get more views from there onward which is simply a great method to share your video online. Besides that, those comments will also appear on your post which has that video on it and thus increase the content of that post day after day which is another thing search engine likes about it!
Other Features besides facebook video views
1) This plugin will allow you to insert different video on the sidebar of different post which is another great way for you to target those users that only interested in a certain topic.
Insert a youtube share link into the sidebar text box in order to show the video on the sidebar of that post or page.
If you want to know how the youtube share link looks like, here is a sample of it http://youtu.be/nvomHkllqrs
If you have not include the Related Video Widget on the sidebar of your blog yet then we will need one more last step in order to show the video on the sidebar of your post. Go to the Widgets page under the Appearance tab and put below widget
into any sidebar you wish the video to appear on, close it and that is it.
2) This plugin will show related video at the bottom of your main video.
This feature will insert the main video at the bottom of your post content, insert the click-able video images at the bottom of that main video and links to other four latest posts that are in the same category as this post. This feature is almost the same as the related post feature which you often see in a blog site where a few related posts attached to the end of a main single post.
Here is what you need to do in order to try out this cool feature. You either can create 5 new posts and group them under the same category then insert the youtube share link under the Image meta box for each of them
and published those posts. Or you can also insert those links to the Image meta box of 5 old posts that are in the same category and updated those posts accordingly. The link must be in this format http://youtu.be/2d22AvI2PSI or else the video will not appear on your post. If you create less than 5 posts under the same post category then you will not see all 4 images under the bottom of the main video, just that simple. If you click on any of the 4 video images that appear at the bottom of the main video then the content of the main video will change. If you click on any link at the bottom of any video image you will get directed to another post. One more thing you need to remember here is if you have video link in the content text area under the Social meta box then this feature will not operate until you remove the link under the Social meta box because this plugin will only allow one of these features to operate within the content of a single post!
3) This plugin allows you to easily insert youtube video within your post.
Click on the icon as shown below
on the top of your post editor and then fill in the youtube share link, height and width of the video in the prompt box (if you just fill in the height of the video then this plugin will adjust the width for you so you can leave the width as it is)! After you have done you will see the video player nicely appears at the current position of your cursor in the editor area. Just publish the post and you will see that video on your post.
4) This plugin allows you to take webcam video right from your admin area then upload the video to youtube directly.
In order to use this feature you will need to get a Firefox browser as well as you need to have the web cam install in your computer. You also need an account on Youtube so you can log in and upload the video. Click on the icon as shown below at the editor area to open the video recording panel
then just follow the sign on the video player to record a video with the webcam and then upload it to youtube right from the admin area. Currently the feature only works on Firefox so make sure you are using Firefox browser to record the video.
5) This plugin shows the sticky post’s video and latest post’s video on the sidebar of your blog post.
If you include any youtube share link under the content area of either the Social Box or the Image Box of a sticky post and put below widget into the sidebar of your blog
then you will see the feature posts together with the video images appear at the sidebar of your blog homepage as well as the individual post page.
The same applies to the Latest Post Widget as well
where you will see the latest posts together with the image of videos appear on the sidebar of an individual post page if you put the widget into any sidebar of your blog and included a youtube share link in the content text box of the Social Box or the Image Box meta box.
If you click on the image of a video on the sidebar then you will open up a page to that video on youtube and if you click on the text link then you will get directed to the related post with that video on it! You can see all the two samples plus the related video sample on the sidebar of this post. Up to six videos will be shown on the sidebar for the Feature Post and the Latest Post Feature.
All right, lets talk about the seo feature now, create a new post/page or edit your old post/page, in either way you will see below meta box
appears at the side of your edit or new post/page area, all you have to do is to copy a youtube share link and insert it into the content text box area under this meta box.
Remember you need to use the correct type of share link or else the video will not show up in your post. You can leave the sidebar text area empty as you wish, only the box that has link in it will render the video.
Next published your new post or updated the old one and you should see the video appears on your post. If you are using any plugin to cache your post make sure you delete the cache or else you will need to wait after the expire date of that cache in order to see the video.
Now you should see one video appears at the bottom of this post. Try to comment on the Facebook comment box below the video then visit your Facebook profile page and see by yourself how this plugin will help you to get more youtube viewers to view your video online.
